Moving your service
Call before you move, not after. The answer depends on the new address and we would rather find out early.
How it goes
Tell us the new address and the date
Before you go, with as much notice as you can. It costs nothing to ask and it is the difference between arriving with internet and arriving without.
We check line of sight there
The same check as a new install: can that building see a tower. Two houses on one street can get different answers, so being in the same town as your old place does not settle it. You can check the address yourself first for a good idea.
If it works, we move the service
Same account, same plan, same bill. We take the antenna down at the old place and put it up at the new one.
If it does not, we stop billing on your move date
There is no contract, so there is nothing to buy your way out of. We keep the address on our list, and if we build so that it works, we will call you.
Questions worth asking early
What if I am moving somewhere you do not serve?
Then we cannot follow you there, and we will say so as soon as we have checked rather than leaving it to move day. Billing stops on the date you go. Tell us the address anyway — where people ask is how we decide where to build next.
What if my dates move?
They usually do. Call and change it; there is nothing to re-do.
Can I keep the same plan?
Yes, if the new address can carry it. If the link there will not support the speed you are on, we will tell you what it will support before you decide, not after.
What happens to the equipment?
Call us about it rather than taking it down yourself. An antenna that has been unbolted and put in a box has lost the aim it was installed with, and that is the part that takes the time.
